Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy
Despite the coronavirus crisis and the temporary closure of many shipyards, the working activity in the yachting world does not stop. The Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo is preparing to premiere an innovative 44-metre superyacht, entirely made of light aluminium alloy.
Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy with its fast displacement hull will be able to reach speeds of up to 22 knots, with a fuel reserve of 41 tons, giving her an impressive range. And the new principles of space layout, according to the shipyard, will raise the comfort standard to a whole new level. Totally 44 Alloy can accommodate up to 10 guests and a crew of 9, with the owner's suite alone occupying 145 sqm on three levels.
Other prominent features include a multifunctional beach club at the stern with folding terraces on 3 sides (aboard and aft) as well as a private outdoor lounge area on the forward deck.
There are currently 3 Alloy 44 hulls under construction at the yard. The interior of the first hull has been designed by Zuccon International, while the interiors of the second and third hulls have been given to the Florentine architect Michele Bonan and the French design bureau Liagre, reflecting Sanlorenzo's global and eclectic approach.
The 44 Alloy world premiere is scheduled for September 2020 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
